Hello my friends I'm so glad you're back with me and if you're new to the

morning mindset welcome my name is Carrie Green I am a Bible teacher who is

just consumed with this idea that we as believers in Jesus Christ

need to be the real deal.

And part of the way that we become that real deal in life is to renew our minds every day.

So I'm often saying it's time to align our mind with the truth of God for this day.

That's what the morning mindset is all about. All right, today we are diving back in to

Romans chapter 12. We're looking at verse number 15. Like the last two episodes that we've looked at, this is a very simple verse to understand.

But sometimes difficult to apply, let's read it.

It says, rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Weep with those who weep.

Very simple.

And I think it's fairly easy for most of us to understand

why a command like this exists.

All of us understand the need to have others be a part of our

emotional experience, to have them share it with us. We love it when something great happens in our lives and

others celebrate with us. It makes us feel loved, cared for, appreciated, those

kinds of things, but then when something difficult comes into our lives

and we're mourning, we're truly in grief about that situation, there's a

comfort and an expression of love that comes as well when others come alongside and weep with us and become part of the mourning.

Now there's a sense in which that latter one can feel a little morbid. I mean you

actually want people to weep with you to be sad with you? Well yes there's something

in human nature that I think not only appreciates that, but actually needs it.
