Not the t-shirt. Well, it works for me. But the trin-tripe suit. Look, let's crack on. We've got an awful lot to cover. We could have working up this morning to the news of widespread destruction in Iran. Instead, we have a two-week pause in the fighting and the reopening of the straight of Hormuz.

and that his reckless rhetoric risks long-term damage to America's global reputation.

His supporters, though, say this is exactly what brinkmanship looks like, and he got what

he wanted and the pressure forced to run to back down.

What do you reckon, Alice? No, I think actually now we're sort of seeing Trump slowly falling apart and everything sounds more and more hysterical and before we thought it could be. We were trying to give him the benefit of a doubt it could have been a sort of brinkman ship. But it doesn't know anything like that now, does it? I mean, now it just looks like the Iranians, you know, they'll go back to trying to get their nuclear power. There hasn't really been regime change. That they've still got the straits that they're, you know, they're dominating those straits and they still could charge. More so than before. So they could charge boats to go through it. So actually in every way he hasn't succeeded and it looks more like a sort of Vietnam situation and I think that's what people will feel around the world. What do you think,

Trevor? I think that we should not be viewing this through the lens of whether Donald Trump

has won or not. I think that that's got us sent to a very odd place where all geopolitics is now being

interpreted by whether Donald Trump's psychology is worked or not. I think there are two problems

with that. First of all, it means that we don't really assess whether things have changed in the right

way or not.

And from the Trump point of view, he would say, this is not a football match.

You know, it's not a scoring thing.

Is he better off?

Yeah.
