This week I've been talking about how you can control your emotions through who you are in Christ, through the Word of God,

through the power that God has given us. And I've been just really trying to emphasize

this week that this is critical. Most people desire to have positive emotions, love, joy,

peace, all of these kind of things, but they don't feel that they have any

control over it. And I've been using a lot of scriptures to try and show that, no, you can control

your emotions. Matter of fact, let me rephrase it. You must control your emotions. And let me use

a passage of scripture right here. This will shock many of you the things that I'm going to say today.

But this is true. This is what the Word of God teaches.

This is 100% against the way that all of us have been brought up and made to believe that

this is the way it's supposed to be.

But this is what the Word of God teaches.

In James chapter 1 and in verse 13, it says, let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted

of God, for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. But every man is tempted

when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed,

and when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin, and sin when it is finished bringeth forth death.
