| 0:20.0 | So for today's practice, given what's happening in the world, geopolitically, |
| 0:28.0 | and so much suffering, I thought might be appropriate for us to do some tongue-line practice, specifically tongue-line practice. |
| 0:38.0 | It's a compassion practice in from the Tibetan tradition. |
| 0:45.0 | And it's maybe I'll say something last time on Monday, a reflection came in that how, how can our practice here be of benefit? |
| 1:01.0 | Is it, I hope it's been of benefit, may it be of benefit, given that many challenges happening in the world? |
| 1:09.0 | And let's consider that as long as we are not, number one, adding to the hatred that's already happening in the world. |
| 1:20.0 | As long as we're not adding, we're not fueling, adding fuel to the fire of hatred, no matter what side we're on, what side of the argument, etc. |
| 1:32.0 | So as long as we're not adding hatred, then our practice is of benefit because we're not making it worse by getting riled up and getting others riled up. |
| 1:45.0 | And if we can have compassion for the human beings who are suffering, the human beings who are suffering, 360 degrees. |
| 1:58.0 | And who are at this time, they're running to go into shelters, or they don't have shelters, and running and living in lack of safety, no matter what their background, their religion, their beliefs, their color, their history doesn't matter. |
| 2:18.0 | The human beings just like us, and they're going through, they're living through a very, very difficult time. |
| 2:26.0 | So that perspective, that would compassion 360 degrees, that way we can have a healthy response to actually having this appropriate response in the world instead of adding more hatred to what's already, there's plenty of in the world. |
| 2:47.0 | So, and through compassion practice, we can have a, again, more stable ground, more stable ground for compassionate action, for compassionate action, for altruistic action, for offering support, but first we need to stabilize ourselves. |
| 3:10.0 | So, the practice of talent, which is breathing in and breathing out with, and I'll describe more, I'll leave you through it, is a beautiful practice, an appropriate practice at this time for us to engage in. |
