This one on a commentary I saw by Jerry Bauer of Town Hall Finance,

which rings hauntingly true.

He was quoting G.K. Chesterson, who quip that when someone stops believing in God,

they don't just begin believing in nothing.

They begin believing in just about anything at all.

And he gives an example which involves HBO programmers.

This is an atheist-leading franchise, if ever there was one. These programmers promoting the ludicrous idea that the arrangement of the constellations at the time of your

birth determine your particular personality characteristics. And this is just one example.

Many others could be cited.

I think of the fact that against all rational norms, we are, at least as a nation,

many other nations are reversing course right now.

But as a nation, we're doing irreversible harm to little children

by trying to transition them from male to female with draconian drug treatments,

treatments that will impact these young people, these young children for the rest of their lives.

The problem, of course, is that science like truth has been subjectively politicized.

All of this, not just to curse the darkness,

but hopefully as an incentive for people of faith

to make a difference while there is yet time.
