Summary

Hank Hanegraaff, the host of the Bible Answer Man Broadcast and the Hank Unplugged Podcast, observes that Eastern European countries such as Hungary and Poland have retained their inherited identities and the ideologies that have made Western civilization the greatest civilization in the history of the world—including a great Christian mission sending force. They have seen the horror of communism and reject the empty promises of neo-socialist influences. Contrast this with the path America is heading—a path that will ultimately lead to ruin.

Why? Because I have been reading a great deal about the history of Hungary.

It's on my radar. I'm really interested in a group of Eastern European countries

1:29.9

the contrast we might call frightening.

1:34.3

It certainly is stunning.

1:37.4

We have, in America, embraced ideologies

1:42.1

that are unthinkable and that will ultimately lead to our ruin.

1:50.7

In contrast, you have countries who have seen the horrors of communism, who have lived under the iron Stalinist boot, reject woke culture, reject

2:10.1

the empty promises. And as a result, they are living lives that really make a difference.

2:21.0

And I can use Hungary as a great example.

2:23.3

They have raised some $50 million to go to places like Iraq and rebuild churches and

2:32.4

and re-institute people in their homes and in their cultures so that

2:38.3

Christianity will not be vacant from the LeMont, from the Levant, so that Christianity can continue

2:48.4

making a difference in the very place it is now so much needed.

2:55.7

I hope as you survey our culture and contrast it with what a Christian nation can look like and can do in being the hands

3:14.7

and feet of our Lord. I hope you will, in doing so, remember the admonition, not just to the culture, but to you as a person committed to Christ.
