And yeah, I just wanted to make sure that I was prepared in advance and that everybody listening

had access to new content while I was away, celebrating the completion of my doctoral degree.

So I've got a fascinating one for you this week.

It's a little bit out of the ordinary for the show.

It's, I don't know though, I was like really excited

to have this conversation.

So I had the opportunity to sit down

with Dr. Anna Porcheiskey.

She is a material scientist, an author, a presenter, a storyteller, and a comedian of all things,

which is amazing.

That's why she's, I don't know, it's just so much fun to have chats with her.

She's interested in general materials.

So metals, plastics, ceramics, glasses,

substances from the natural world.

And she is super interested in engaging traditionally

underserved audiences with material science and engineering through

storytelling and so this is why her new book is such a great amalgamation of her interests.
