0:10.7	Today's story comes from Cori who says, hi Danny. In the early 90s, when my
0:16.1	mom Anne was in her 40, she went back to college. She got into habit of preparing food for the next day
0:20.9	the night before. So that night she prepped a stew and headed to bed.
0:25.1	She opened her eyes at some point in the night to see two men stood beside her, one with
0:30.1	white hair and the other a young man in his early 20s. She didn't feel scared for some
0:34.7	reason. The older man turned to the younger one and said, but you're here Wayne. To which he replied,
0:40.8	yes, but it's not her turn yet. The younger man then bent down and said,
0:45.0	wake up, mom.
0:47.0	She got out of bed, not really knowing why, and went downstairs to find the kitchen full of smoke,
0:52.0	and the contents of the pan black she'd forgotten to
0:54.4	Tenard Arthur. If she hadn't got up at that point, the pan would have caught fire.
0:58.4	A bit of background. I had a younger brother, Wayne, who passed away in infancy. The lad she saw would have been around the age he would have been had he lived.
1:09.0	So was it her mind playing tricks? Did she smell smoke and her brain made up this little story
1:15.0	while she slept?
1:15.7	But equally, I think she liked to think
1:18.3	that it was my brother reaching out to protect her.
