0:11.1	hi Danny, it was October 1977 I lived in Southful Middlesex. I was nine
0:17.1	years old watching TV with my family and there was a frantic knocking on our front door.
0:22.2	It was my mum's brother Uncle John. and there was a frantic knocking on our front door.
0:23.0	It was my mum's brother, Uncle John, shaken and tearful.
0:27.0	My mum and he hugged and she broke down as he whispered something in her ear.
0:31.0	We all want to know what was going on, but my dad ushered us back into the front room.
0:35.4	Being the youngest though, I slipped past my mom and uncle unnoticed out into the street.
0:40.9	Uncle John's White Morris Marina car was parked across our drive with my Nan sat in the back.
0:47.0	She looked at me and smiled sweetly and waved.
0:49.0	I went to go to the car but was pulled back inside by my dad and said not now son I later learned
0:55.1	that Uncle John had come over because my Nan had collapsed at their house
0:59.4	sadly passing away in my granddad's arms earlier in the day.
1:05.0	I wanted so much to say I had seen her,
1:07.5	but realized even at that young age that it would upset my mum.
1:11.0	So I kept quiet and told no one until now.
