Today's story comes from Esther.

It happens in 1978 when she was five years old,

in the Peak District in Northern England.

She says our favorite place to go was Ash over Rock.

One day my grandad and I walked ahead of the rest of our family.

It was summer but quite cloudy. As we approached

the top of the rock, everything suddenly became sunny and we saw a group of teenagers

laid around chatting, listening to music. Except they were dressed in a way that even I, aged 5, knew was old-fashioned,

and they had a very old-fashioned radio on playing 1960s music.

My granddad asked them to turn the music down, but they ignored us as though we didn't exist.

Then my mum shouted something like, wait for us, and we both turned for a few seconds,

and when we turned back, there was nobody there, and the weather was bad again.

Now not only could the teenagers not have packed up all their belongings in the few seconds we weren't looking,

but also Ashova Rock is famous for allowing 365 degree views. If they'd walked off, we'd have been able to see them.

My Grandad Knight talked about this frequently throughout the years. We both remember the exact same

details. The only conclusion we could come up with was that this

group of young people had such a lovely day together in the 1960s. It has somehow
