Welcome to our rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Once again, I'm blessed to be praying with Sister Susan.

So let's offer this rosary for all those we've promised to pray for.

In the Our Father, Jesus teaches us to ask for seven things.

The first thing he teaches us to ask for is, hallowed be thy name.

Lord, let your name be holy.

Well, what are we asking for here?

That God be more holy? That doesn't sound right. God can't be more holy. And his name can't become more holy. However, those who bear

his name, those who call themselves Christian, we can certainly become more holy.

With the first part of the Our Father, we are asking God to make us holy, to make us saints.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow it be your name.

Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us
