This is the movement of the Holy Family.

Welcome to our Rosary Meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

In the Our Father, Jesus taught us to pray,

Thy will be done.

I want you to sit with these two questions. What happiness do I want? What happiness

does God want for me? Those two things may not be the same. And when you realize that your

will might not be aligned with God's will, your first response

might be dread.

We are terrified of giving up the things we want for ourselves.

But there is really no need for fear.

It is not that we want something great for ourselves, and God does not want something great for us, but that our

imagination is too small. God's gifts and the happiness he wants for us exceed our imagination.

We, on the other hand, limit ourselves by being attached to our idea of

happiness. But we cannot receive the happiness God wants to give until we totally detach from

our limited plan. So detach. Let go of your vision and tell God that you choose His.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow it be your name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us

and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
