Hello everyone and welcome to a slightly odd entry on your podcast feed.

So to explain some backstory to why I'm posting an episode today.

In the new year, my company was bought by another company.

And then about a month ago, the new company

fired over half the staff, myself included. And this has meant that I've spent the last four

weeks or so looking for a new job. And for a software engineer, that means many rounds. Most jobs have at least four rounds of interviews, technical tests, take-home projects,

before you actually end up getting a job.

So it's basically been a full-time job looking for a new job.

Honestly, I think I've worked far harder this past month than I had the previous month.

But it's basically meant that I've got a little bit behind on the things I needed to do for the podcast. And while I'm pretty sure that we're going to have proper episodes coming out again this week,

I wanted to make sure that I fed the feed, so to speak, that I posted something on our podcast

feed today, just to make sure that you guys had something to listen to on your commutes, on your

walks, and just let you know that other episodes are coming.

And so what I'm posting today is the audio of a YouTube interview, which I conducted about a month ago.

So these are the half pint episodes.

And this was an interview with Julianna Slager from Ballet 5-8.

And you'll find out all of this in the interview itself, but that ballet company has adapted

till we have faces into a ballet. The ballet company is currently on tour. They have two

performances left, one in Troy, Ohio on April 15th, and another in Chicago on April 22nd. And my

wife and I will actually be at that final Chicago performance. So if you're in

the area, we'd love to see you come out. And if you find me afterwards or before, not during,

I will almost certainly have Pints for Jack stickers and coasters to give away.
