in a way that felt accessible and also I guess responsible. Just to recap, I felt that the information I was absorbing was in the main governed by an algorithm

and so wasn't necessarily balanced and I was only seeing what I had already shown an interest in seeing, not what was necessarily actually happening.

The news, meaning current affairs, was where I felt my behavior online had really let me down.

And at a time where political situations all around the world, not least in the UK where I live

and vote, are, what should we say, tense, fraught, going through unique periods in history.

I worried that this kind of online behavior where you were only seeing certain things and not everything

was making all too easy to displace oneself as I had or to become removed enough

from hearing or knowing what was going on, so it was almost to render oneself,

even more powerless than either trying to take part or affect some sort of change.

Or let's just be really honest here, keep up, keep up with what was going on in the news. So in the

last episode I mentioned how I was going to use my Alexa for good and

curate a new fee, a new speed that would keep me up to date with current affairs.
