And that seems very odd because the usual button that we require we require for the sound was off so.

So, welcome. And the topic for this week is mindfulness of emotions.

And these emotions are to be respected and cared for and attended to.

They are a very important part of life. and cared for and attended to.

but not only life, but they're very important part

of Buddhist practice.

They are integral to the whole unfolding of Buddhist practice and to not include our emotional life in the Buddhist practice is to shortchange oneself in the richness and the unfolding

And important as it is, maybe because it's so important, we want to create the right conditions for being present for the emotions, right conditions,

right conditions for our emotions

to reveal themselves to us,

the right way of developing a capacity to hold whatever emotion comes through and that begins with a posture

with a posture that we assume when we meditate.
