| 0:33.0 | I'm delighted to be back after being gone for a month. |
| 0:36.0 | It feels very kind of like a homecoming in a certain way to come back to IMC and sit here |
| 0:45.0 | and to be able to be together with you this way, reflecting on the Dharma. |

| 0:55.0 | And some of you I'm sure remember that in the weeks that I was here before being gone for a month, |
| 1:06.0 | the overall topic was compassion and that I had divided compassion into five different aspects. |
| 1:15.0 | With the idea that if we are aware of the richness of these different aspects, |
| 1:20.0 | that compassion becomes more embodied, becomes more considered, |
| 1:25.0 | more wholehearted, more wise and considered and practical, useful. |
| 1:33.0 | And if we don't have these five things in mind, it's very easy for us to have a narrow idea of what compassion is |
| 1:39.0 | and maybe have it be a call to action that maybe isn't always so wise. |
| 1:46.0 | So these five were general categories of awareness, attunement, appreciation, aspiration and action. |
| 1:59.0 | And action being the last one, we often associate compassion with the need to act quickly, |
| 2:06.0 | but have this be the last after, if there's time, some kind of deeper consideration. |
| 2:12.0 | And then I was going through each of these five days and each of them. |
| 2:17.0 | And now we're at aspiration. |
| 2:21.0 | And aspiration is a beautiful quality. |
