End of the week edition of the dunkdown basketball NBA podcast a thriller between Golden State and Boston always seems to be a great game when those two get together even with the personnel having changed a little bit.

We have to talk about Houston putting up the second highest scoring first half in NBA history tonight against Phoenix on national television not exactly the way you want to show out if you're Phoenix in your one game on national TV in this year.

And then we also have some news that's piled up. We want to talk about Robert Cubington's renegotiations and extension where that puts the sixers now that the official numbers have come in and also after Joel and Beads ridiculous 46.15 rebound seven block seven assists performance against the Lakers on Wednesday.

We didn't record after that game, but we want to talk a little bit about his ceiling. We got a lot of questions about that during the tour NBA show today.

So that's something we should hit on as well.

So let's start with this Golden State Boston game.

Golden State controlled throughout most of the game with their defense, but Boston much as they did in that game in Oklahoma City a couple of weeks ago, Danny.

They were able to get back into it with their D and scored just enough to win down the stretch after looking pretty dead in the first half at times.

This was an unusual game from elements of the Warriors perspective because usually they've done better when they have the best players together and Zots of Achoolyas not been on the floor.

They've struggled a little bit offensively in those moments today.

He did a nice job on Hoerford and they were able to defend reasonably well in those minutes.

So that's what gave the game sort of a different ebb and flow.

So the Warriors went out to run at the beginning of the first quarter and so it looks like they had control.

And so if you had that narrative in your head of, oh, you know, the Warriors are going to do it like that.

That they're the better team. You kind of got that in your head.

Then they had the lead for most of the first half.

Then Boston had that big run to cut it to five.

Then the Warriors went on another run to push it at the beginning of third quarter.

So you're kind of saying they were, okay, well, that's what it was.

But then what really turned the game, there were two things, I think in the third quarter that were pivotal.
