I started my career at LimeWire doing everything you do when you're an entry level accountant,

data entry, copying and pasting, entering bills, even filing some paper back in the early 2000s.

And as a coding enthusiast, I started trying to automate as much of that as I could.

So first, I learned Pearl from some of the people around me. There was a lot of developers there.

Eventually, I learned Python. And those skills allowed me to speed up the accounting function I was

charged with many fold. And over time, I started looking for

ways to export that skill beyond my full-time employer and start to do that for private clients
