You all know that I am the self-appointed potato daddy.

I lived off of them for a month almost in June of 2019 where I did my apocalypse grow

experiment trying to live off of only what I could grow, fish, forage for, or barter for

at fair market value.

Now did that experiment work for me?

Depends on what you mean by work.

I lost 13 pounds, 10 of it was muscle and I felt pretty bad the whole month.

But did I survive?

The answer is yes and a huge reason why is because I grew potatoes.

But what if it's winter or a time of year where they don't grow that well?

Is it possible to grow them indoors?

That's where our question comes from today from Kevin, which is a great name.

inside and if it is possible do you have any tips to do so.

Okay, Kevin, can you grow potatoes indoors?

Certainly yes you can.

Now when you're growing something indoors you're removing the principle reason that plants

grow outdoors which of course be sunlight, especially if it's winter time you're probably

also going to be removing some element of ambient temperature humidity conditions that

a plant's going to want to perform well.

So I'm actually growing winter potatoes right now granted I'm in zone 10b it's quite easy

for me to grow them.
