Okay, here's the thing, Linda.

You can neglect raspberries for quite some time, and you can get them to come back provided

you do a few things.

The first thing is really to understand the type of raspberry that you have.

So you have really two main groups.

One is going to fruit one time per season, and then the other type is going to be ever

bearing.

So they will fruit once in the summer, and they will typically then fruit once in the fall.

So the way you're going to get your plants to come back is by proper pruning practices,

but you have to know which one you have first because the pruning practice differs for each

of those two kinds.
