We are back with Meg from Meg Groes Plants and today we want to talk about cooking food preservation because I think both of us really got into

gardening at least to some extent because we love to cook and we love to cook with

produce out of our garden. I don't plan my garden very well but I always have a plan of some things

that I want to make sure I'm growing specifically for the use in the kitchen.

So I know that you also love cooking, so do you do a little bit of planning in your garden when it comes to actually having things in the kitchen for cooking?

Yeah, and I think I had a little bit of a different experience.

I think that I did like to cook before I started my garden,

but I, like, it's almost like the garden really just accelerated that and it has taught me a lot how to cook.

Yeah, like I do it so much more cooking now than I ever did because it's almost like yeah the garden is

teaching me how to cook with different things but absolutely yeah I do plan out

to some extent like what I want to cook because now it's more like before when I was growing I would grow all these unique things that I didn't know if I liked or not and now now, over the years, it's more like I'm growing

So definitely a lot of peppers. I think peppers are like my main crop for me because I just love
