We are back today with Meg and we are going to be talking about a subject that she is very fond of and she calls it Chaos Gardening. So Meg, what is Chaos Gardening and why do you love it so much?

Personally I think Chaos Gardening is just kind of almost like gardening instinctively

like you know back in the day like they didn't have you know, back in the day, like, they didn't have, you know, Google to tell them, you know, when exactly, what date should I plant this and like, what, you know, soil does it need? I think it's just like kind of learning by doing and by

observing which is the best way that I learned. That's like I'm a I don't know

what that's called like a tactile learner right that's like I'm a I don't know what that's called like a

tactile learner right that's like yeah your hands on you learn by doing like I

need to observe with my own eyes I can read a book all day long but until I see it I'm not going to like retain it as much and so I started

Chaos Gardening because I was when I started my garden I was working a full-time job with an hour commute each way and so I didn't

have that much time to garden although I had big dreams for like a huge garden but I didn't

have in a lot of time and so I was gardening like early early in the morning before I went to work or late in the evening when I got home or like on the weekends and I think I got to a point where I literally just walked out in my garden and I just threw my hands up and I was like, oh my gosh, I don't have time to do anything and I just went outside.

It was like I blacked out. I grabbed like a bucket of seeds and I just went outside and I was like you know what I don't have time I'm just gonna

sprinkle these seeds I'm gonna see what happens and that's gonna be my garden for the year and I'm going to be okay with it.

And then honestly it was, I got some of the best carrots I've ever gotten.

I grew beats for the first time that way. I grew a ton of radishes, lettuce, like things just really took off.

And so I was like, wow, I think that there's like something to this.

Like there's, you you know some plants that really drive this way

although you know some of the seeds that throughout didn't thrive but I kind of

learned from that like which ones could and which ones couldn't.

I think that's really interesting.

Yeah, for me personally I'm also like very tactile and I have to experience it.

Not even to learn it, but even to just like believe it sometimes.

I'm like I have a hard time even like being like is that like really how this is supposed to be I have to like actually do it to know for sure and it's honestly, it's super smart because every, whether you follow the rules or not in gardening,
