Summary

It seems that hostility is now reserved for those who see themselves as moderate political thinkers. There’s also antagonism towards moderate religious believers or those who try to be open-minded and objective about things. Here's an episode of Ground Zero that is relevant 22 years later, as Clyde Lewis calls for a ceasefire in THE WAR ON THE MODERATE. The original broadcast was on February 4, 2014.

And I was up late last night, couldn't sleep. My brain was on. You ever had that one of those nights where your brain is on and you're seeing things and you're connecting dots and you're putting things together and you're saying to yourself, oh, I don't know if this is just too much even for me. And this is over the top and it's kind of weird. And it's like, you know, you think to yourself, you know, who can you share it with but with your friends and you can't share it with those people because they'll look at you and they'll go, you're out of your mind, everything's meaningless and you're just saying, well, you must have been really tired or You must have been really out of your mind last night.
