We usually think of habits in terms of health.

Smoking bad. Exercise good. Gretchen Rubin wants us to think of habits in terms of happiness.

Habits, she says, are the invisible architecture of our lives, and when we get them right,

we're a lot happier for it.

Gretchen Rubin has written several New York Times best-selling books about happiness,

including better than before,

mastering the habits of our everyday lives,

and the happiness project.

She also hosts a popular podcast with her sister called Happiness with Gretchen Rubin.

She joins me today to talk about her life, her career, and happiness.
