I am so excited to talk to Gretchen Moll today.

It's a funny thing, I'm gonna talk to Gretchen about this, but the people who you make

stuff with at the beginning of your career, even if you don't speak to them or see them,

you are so connected from the experience of making work at the beginning of your career.

When you have, I have this sense, like, Gretchen watching you on Jiglo with such a moving

experience for me, I mean, your work is just incredible and the wisdom and your comfort

in your own skin.

And we've all come such a long way from where we were in 1997 and we were making that movie

rounders.

And I've watched how you've managed something incredibly difficult, which is to be a high-level

working actress in Hollywood for this whole time with a sense of joy for you and happiness

for how you've built this career and life.

And when I saw you the other day online and I was like, you want to pod and you said, yes,

I was like, oh, this is great, this is a conversation I really want to have.

So thanks for doing this.
