| 0:19.2 | Welcome to our rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |

| 0:29.9 | Today we meditate on the deadly sin of greed. |
| 0:33.2 | Greed is the least confessed sin. |
| 0:37.0 | And it's funny, but no one thinks they suffer from greed, |
| 0:40.4 | and the reason is this, because everyone suffers from greed. Now greed is not |
| 0:46.9 | about wanting to be rich. Greed is about money and the stuff money can buy. |
| 0:52.0 | Greed is the disordered love of getting and |
| 0:55.7 | possessing. And we know that we suffer from greed when we get angry or filled with anxiety either about financial matters or from anything money can buy. |
| 1:07.0 | We get angry when someone has more money than we do or nicer stuff than we have. We get angry when others make more than us. We get angry at how much stuff |
| 1:16.8 | costs. We get angry when our stuff breaks or someone damages our stuff. |
| 1:21.8 | When a material thing is lost or broken or compromised, or when they're not |
| 1:26.2 | available. |
| 1:28.0 | And we see that we suffer from greed when we worry about financial things. We have fear and anxiety about our |
| 1:36.0 | financial future. We make finances the primary concern, but we make most of our |
| 1:41.4 | decisions. |
| 1:43.0 | Kids are worried about whether they'll get a good job, and a good job is about how much |
| 1:47.1 | money we make. |
| 1:48.7 | As parents, we're worried about how we're going to get our kids through school and financially independent. |
| 1:54.0 | Yes, for their sake, but even more for our sake. |
