| 1:37.4 | political philosophy serves the idol embedded within. But we don't just casually subscribe to these political idols. Instead, we |
| 1:46.9 | serve them trusting that the idol offers a form of deliverance, a promised salvation. Thus, |
| 1:55.8 | these political ideologies become their own counterfeit gospels, vainly promising to fix this broken world. |

| 2:06.9 | And the one I want to pick up this week is conservatism. |

| 2:15.0 | Most people who listen to my podcast would probably self-identify as a |
