Tonight we're in Romans 1, just verses 16 and 17.

And what we're going to do is take this gospel message that Paul talks about,

and we're going to compare it to the gospel message in Jehovah's Witnesses, in Mormonism, in Catholicism, among other things,

but that's kind of your little preview.

So we'll look at the major difference between the Romans gospel, the Gospel of the Bible

versus those other groups.

But here we are, Romans 1, verse 16, this is the epic verse, it says,

for I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ,

for it is the power of God to salvation,

for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

Some verses grab your heart.

You know, trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean on your own understanding.

That's a really important verse in my own life.

But some verses grab your guts.

Like they don't so much grab your heart,

but they grab you by the guts.

And this, to me, this is one of those verses.

This verse grabs my guts.

It's like a rallying cry to go and preach the gospel and be unashamed and stand unashamed

before anyone about this one particular message the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I will stand completely unashamed in front of anybody.

What does that mean to not be ashamed?
