The indictment of former President Trump, again, this time by special counsel Smith, to

do with the events of January 6, which I will not encapsulate, I will say that the indictment

makes it very clear that the President deceived that he committed fraud with regards some

of the conduct in other states, and that he was surrounded by what the Wall Street Journal

calls misfits and lives in a performance artist, fact-free world of his own imagining.

This is the Wall Street Journal, however, the mystery that journals editorial raises is

where's the crime?

I welcome Victor Davis Hanson of the Hoover Institution, the author of The Dying Citizen,

to observe this editorial and also having read through the indictment.

It is a puzzler.

Victor, a very good evening to you, I'm not a lawyer, I'm not about to be.

But right now what the President and his counselors did was maintain something that was obviously

fraudulent from the first, deceiving a certain number of credulous people who then assaulted

the Capitol and misbehaved there as well.

Have you found or to your satisfaction, is there a crime here that we can describe easily?

No, I can't John, I mean the people who protested on January 6 were analogous to the 120 days

of writing in 2020.

They considered they had beefs against the state as did Antief and BLM, so they took

to the streets and as Antief and BLM, they got violent and they planned that as we know

either ad hoc or in advance in the same way that BLM and Antifa.
