Thaddeus, the Republicans have a challenge. Donald Trump is called inevitable.

What does the trade deadline mean for the Republicans right now?

Good evening to you, John. Well, for the Republicans it's a little different than the Democrats.

As we discussed previously, the Democrats seem to be willing to trade the individual who won in 2020.

Whatever means necessary. Joe Biden and replacing him with Gavin Newsom because they believe that that's their best bet in 24.

Or somebody else because there may be some tension, which we can talk about later, but right now we're focused on the GOP.

And so it looks that the Democrats may be willing to trade out Joe Biden to improve their nominee for 2024.

The Republicans are looking at Donald Trump even though he was defeated in 2020 or 2020, but they're looking at making it keeping him for 2024.

So it seems a little incongruous, but that's where we are.

So with the trade deadline past, it looks like the Democrats may make a move or at least are looking at doing it.

The Republicans seem not ready to make a move because Trump, as you said, is running strong in the polls.

But when you also look at it, John, there's talk of Gavin Newsom debating Governor DeSantis, Florida, who's a challenger to Donald Trump.

So that tells me that it's time to look at the waiver wire.

What the waiver wire is is after the trade deadline passes, you can put somebody on waivers and other teams can pick them up to improve their ball clubs.
