So deputies in Hillsboro County in Florida, they responded to a call about possible human remains

in a wooded area on Ramblewood Road. Not at the time, the medical examiner's office said there

were no apparent signs of trauma and confirmed the remains were in fact of a human woman.

The detectives were able to find potential leads following an extensive investigation in DNA evidence processing with the hell, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, they identified the victim as 78-year-old Jacqueline Seroon.

They determined that a family member caring for Seroon disposed of her remains in the woods after her death.

They do not believe that the woman killed her.

Now, Rebecca Vaughn, that's the victim's niece, she's now facing multiple charges, including unlawfully holding or moving a dead body in unapproved conditions, failure to report death to the medical examiner or law enforcement, and tampering with physical evidence. As a side note, they did a bit of a deep dive on this family.
