You've got mail. Few comments on our question, irrational, or for good reason, what truly scares you and why, guys? Spiders, because they're terrifying. Once you've been bitten and watch yourself get bitten, you're pretty much an arachnaphob from now on. And in Colorado, you used to have to brush them off you because they were crawling around on you everywhere. Did you have that experience growing up? I did not have that experience in Colorado. That is where I saw the only black widow I've ever seen in my life, though. Well, there you go. I didn't know as a black widow. I can't explain it, but basically, their markings let you know not to F with it. I picked up a rock. I'm hanging out with some friends. I picked up a rock. And under it, and the divot was a black widow. I did not know what it was. the red mark you're talking about? It is jet black with the red mark. And I never seen one, never heard one. And in that moment, I just knew like, don't F with this thing. And actually, I believe I screamed the word no and slammed the rock down. But it skewed me out enough where I told my mother when I got home what it looked like and she's like

that is a black widow did it bite you I said no no no I freaked down and I think I crushed it I don't

know so she explained to me what they were and that made it worse yeah I mean look I didn't

plan to interact with spiders anyway but she told me that I'm like yeah no nope nope I've fallen

three times in the shower,

and now I loathe taking a shower, but I do it anyway. Anyone else pray before bathing? No, man. Damn. Yeah, that's... A prayer before bathing. Sounds like a bad book. And I think it's just... I mean, I guess after you've done it, you don't want to do it again. Right, and then just law of averages.

I'm generally in the shower 365 days a year. Right? Then you add in some days that you take a second shower or whatever. Just like... Well, look at the number of people who passed on from falling. You know, it only takes a couple times. You know, and then you... I don't know. Uncle was struck up by lightning twice.

He's still alive and in his late 70s. Twice. There's another person with a multiple strike.

What happens, it doesn't happen to everyone. But like you said at the top of the show, Miles,

it seems like someone would be struck by lightning and then for whatever reason, after that,

lightning follows them around. And it's such such a weird because there was a guy who's been struck like seven times even in his

book and it's like man i got struck and then after that pretty much every two years he could almost

bank on the fact that he'd get hit again the weirdest thing about the waking up when i sat up, the tree above me was on fire. Yeah, that's a weird way to wake up. You know, one of the branches had split. One of the bigger branches wouldn't hit, kind of was a wide tree. One of the big branches came off and went into the woods, thank God, because it would have come our way, you know, and probably would have landed on one of us.

But it's very difficult to make the decision.

What you're supposed to do is get in a very low, like in a tornado situation. Yeah, exactly. Get in a low-lying ditch, lay down. It's also pouring down rain. Right, that's the problem. Yeah. The last thing you want to do is to lay down in a ditch in an open field.
