And I'm Antonia Dodge. We are continuing our short series about the gods in every man coming from the book at the same title

about the gods in every man. The archetypes, the masculine archetypes that show up in men's lives.

And in the last two podcasts we talked about the Father God

archetypes in the first one, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades.

In the last episode, we talked about two of the Sun God,

S-O-N-S-O-N-G, Sun God Artypes of Apollo and Hermes. Now that episode was talking about the

Sun Gods that were favored sons as far as all the archetypes go. In this one we're going to talk

about the two sons that were rejected sons.

These are the rejected sons of Zeus and these two gods are Ares and Hephaestus.

So one of the recommendations I would make to you listening is to go back and

listen to the first two podcasts and this Gods in Every Man because it's going to give you a framework for what we're talking about today

because we're going to jump right into the middle of this discussion assuming you've
