Welcome to you, whoever you are, whether you're a new listener or a returning

friend. Thank you for giving a listen today. And I don't know what the weather is like where you are now,

but boy, has it been hot around here in my hometown of Pennsylvania? I am returned,

if you were here last week. I was in Massachusetts at the Berkshire Yoga Festival. I recorded an

episode there that will post maybe next week or the week after, I'm not not sure and I will talk more about the festival then

it was quite enjoyable and it was really an experience on a lot of different levels and

a few different things that could be said about it but we're going to save that for when I

shared the episode that I recorded there with you. Right now, I'm back home.

I'm in the backyard. It is cooled down a little bit as evening time. In many ways, I am up against

it because I had all sorts of duties this afternoon in respect to the neighborhood-wide yard sale that I conduct as vice

president of my neighborhood association. So we had our neighborhood-wide yard sale this

weekend, and I had all kinds of stuff to do today, picking up signs and whatnot. And I put off

doing the podcast intro much later than I normally would.

And now I'm out here in the backyard. It's already latter evening. And the sky's looking a little

bit ominous. I got to say, we are under a thunderstorm watch. so it feels like the thunderstorms could roll in any

moment. We're seeing if we can get it in before the storm comes in more ways than one, I suppose.

In any case, we're making it happen, however way we can. And I have such a fantastic

episode to share with you today. My guest is Godfrey Devereaux. And if you're a regular
