Today's Scripture:
Proverbs 16:1-3, 9, 25, 33
The plans of the heart belong to man,
but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the spirit.
Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.
Vs. 9 - The heart of man plans his way,
but the Lord establishes his steps.
Vs. 25 - There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death.
Vs. 33 - The lot is cast into the lap,
but its every decision is from the Lord.

| 0:42.0 | All right, today we are going to talk about one of the realities that rules all of life. |
| 0:47.0 | And that is that God rules over your plans and my plans. |
| 0:54.0 | You know, we are encouraged in our culture to plan our lives, to decide how we're going to accomplish things. |
| 1:01.0 | And there's nothing wrong with any of that. |
| 1:04.0 | But there is a higher level of power in decision making that goes on. |
| 1:09.0 | That we've got to get our brains around and we've got to recognize and accept. |
| 1:13.0 | And that is that God rules over all of our plans. |
| 1:17.0 | Nothing we plan or decide to do is going to be successful if God is not in it. |
| 1:23.0 | And if God is not the one who has given us that plan, we're going to look at a number of verses from Proverbs chapter 16 today |
| 1:30.0 | that highlight this truth. And they're all highlighting it in a different way or from a different angle. |
| 1:36.0 | Proverbs 16 1 through 3 says, |
