Grab your scriptures and let's dive into Genesis 1, verse 20.

When my family moved from Texas to Colorado, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the mountains.

Every hike I went on, it ended in beautiful

views, and there were fantastic rock formations, and there were plants, and there were animals

along the way. It actually became a running joke in our family that on every hike,

I would inevitably at some point say, you guys, Heavenly Father loves us so much. To me, the beauty of the earth is just

one of the greatest visible signs of God's love. Like, if you think about it, beauty was optional.

If Heavenly Father simply wanted to bring our immortality and eternal life to pass, he could

have technically sent us to an entirely gray earth with only one type of animal, one kind of tree.

Like, it could have worked.

But he didn't.

The scriptures say, and God said, let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life and foul that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

God made a world filled with different

creatures and physical landscapes and foods like chocolate and more that make life beautiful and joyful.

So the next time you wake up and you see a glorious sunrise or you hear a bird singing or you

bite into a delicious meal, remember it's a sign of Heavenly Father's great love for you

and creating a world with so much joyful variety.

So the takeaway of the day in five words or less is,

God loves you so much.
