Welcome to our Rosary Meditation.

Teresa, it's great to be praying with you once again.

You know, if a person prayed the Rosary Podcast every day for a year,

they would learn all the basics of the Catholic faith.

In fact, we walk a person through the entire catechism in a year, plus the life

of Jesus, plus the lives of the saints. But if a person were serious about their learning,

they could do three things. They could pray the podcast, then read the transcript, and then discuss it with a friend. If someone would do that

for the course of a year, they would learn more than I learned by getting a master's in theology.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

It's called to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

We've said that in faith, God must be the witness our belief is based on.

After all, God's the only one with firsthand knowledge of the Trinity,

or the incarnation, or his program of salvation, or the supernatural design of the church.

No mere human being has direct access to that kind of information. That means that in the act of faith, it only

ultimately makes sense to believe that these things are true, not because some priest told us,

or some parent told us, or some book told us, but because God told us.

But when did that happen?

When did God offer us this gift of faith?

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow would be your name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
