We have a lot to cover today, but first we do begin with actor Timothy Busfield, making his first court appearance after turning himself in on charges of child sexual abuse, and now he's facing

new allegations. Trevor Althe has the latest. Trevor.

Hey, so Timothy Busfield says he's going to fight these charges and he'll be exonerated. But prosecutors want him locked up through his trial. They say

the same day he turned himself in this week, another parent came forward with child sex abuse

allegations from decades ago. Actor-director Timothy Busfield is being kept in custody without

bail, charged with child sex abuse.

And prosecutors say they've received new allegations, the 68-year-old making his first court appearance Wednesday.

Was there anything further from counsel for defense for the state at this time?

The hearing lasted only about a minute, and he did not address the court.

He's facing three felonies, the charges stemming from alleged sexual abuse of a child he directed

on the set of the TV series The Cleaning Lady.
