We start with that cold. It is dangerous in many places.

The upper Midwest and Northeast are feeling it right now. But the deep south, I'm talking all the way

into Florida through the weekend. This is happening, of course, as the nationwide death toll

from the massive winter storm last weekend, still rising at least 85 now. Will Reeve joins us from Patterson, New Jersey, where the waterfalls are frozen, Will?

That's right. You said it, Ginger. I'm feeling it, though. It is very, very cold.

So cold, in fact, for so consistently long that the waterfall here in Patterson-Grave Falls, part of it, has

frozen over. That should give you a sense

of how intractable these temperatures have been for so long since that storm came through

at the end of last week and into the weekend that 85 people at least are dead. 220,000 people

in the southeast, still without power. As far south as Mississippi, black ice keeping roads undrivable, cars spilling off roads

all over the place.

And the cold isn't really going anywhere here.

It's going to continue at least through the weekend in much of the country, 150 million

plus Americans on alert for those cold temperatures

as the southeast braces for what could be another storm. So indeed, it is quite, quite cold.
