0:21.6	conversation about this last The last era of recovery for me, which involved going off of medication for the first time
0:29.8	in 30 years.
0:31.0	And so in short what we discussed was that I decided as an experiment and
0:40.9	after you know a year and a half of this new realm of therapy
0:44.2	to go off meds and see what see who I was and who the world what the world was
0:51.1	without that in me.
0:54.8	And between me and the world is how it started to feel.
0:57.6	What I discovered was that when I got through the hellscape of withdrawal and got to the other side of that and
1:06.8	started to try to learn how to navigate myself in the world without anorexia or medication, both of which were tools that I used to
1:17.3	survive, I ended up experiencing a lot more conflict.
1:21.8	Okay, so where I want to start,
1:23.2	when I decided to go off medication,
1:26.4	I don't know why the world works like this,
1:29.3	but this last six months for our family
1:32.1	has been unbelievable like a relentless it's been a time of
1:41.1	big things happening to and with and between every person we know who we love.
1:51.4	So we've had death, we've had Amanda's cancer,
1:56.0	we've had major shifts in our co-parenting situation.
2:00.4	We've had older kids doing brave amazing things that scare the shit out of us.
2:07.0	We have had what has felt like just really destabilizing
