The Hello all you beautiful people and welcome to the Glorious and the

mundane podcast I'm your host Christy Nacles. Well we made it past the election

actually I'm recording this podcast the night before the election so this gives me the

opportunity to just have faith in advance that the right person was appointed and

the reason I know this is that God is on his throne right now on Monday night, November 7th,

and he's going to be on his throne November 9th the day this podcast airs.

Our church had a prayer meeting for the election and I was sitting with friends

praying through the different themes that our pastor Darren was leading us

through and I prayed Proverbs 21 out loud in the's hand, the King's heart is a stream of water that he

channels towards all who please him.

And then literally, like one minute later, our pastor, from the platform quoted the very same verse is just a beautiful

reminder that God is sovereign today no matter what choice has been made by our nation He is ruling over us with kindness and wisdom and he is

with us and he's not going to leave us or forsake us because we are his people. So that's

about as much as I'm going to say about a very difficult subject.

I told my manager today that my desire is that this podcast would reflect

Philippians 4.8.

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right,

whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable,

if anything is excellent or praiseworthy worthy think about such things.

I'm not going to try to skirt around hard things.

Trust me, I just know for sure in my own life.

What is wrong with our world is all around us all the time.
