Kristi Nachols. Happy November to you and happy thrill of hope day. Today is the

day that my Christmas record, The Thrill of Hope, is officially available.

So we are certainly celebrating that and thank you to all of you who have helped us get the word out since it's an independent release release that is so helpful. We have just

been blown away by the support around it and we are so very grateful. To

celebrate I've saved today's interview for such a time as this.

I've actually been wanting to interview my husband Nathan for quite some time,

but we decided to wait for this special day as sort of a commemoration of the Christmas record releasing today.

I remember right where I was standing and exactly what I was wearing the day that I got

reacquainted with Nathan Knox. I was in Estes Park, Colorado at the Christian

artist seminar in the Rockies. I was standing in line for the Rich Mullins concert

that night and there he was just ahead of me standing in line next to Charlie Hall.

It had been about two years since I had seen Charlie and at that point he was just a guy I

had met in a snow cone line at church camp when I was about 17. And as far as

Nathan, it had been about a year since our first encounter, which was during a

visit to Oklahoma Baptist University to see my brother Eric and also actually to see this guy that I

was interested in at the time. Well that guy had forgotten my birthday a few weeks

earlier so he planned a little afternoon surprise for me while I was on campus, one that would be life

changing for sure, just probably not in the way that he was thinking. I was staying at a friend's

dorm and this boy calls me and he says he was ready to pick me up. So once outside the boy

blindfolded me and puts me in what later I realized was a convertible

Volkswagen bug. It was all actually very charming and really sweet so we took a little drive and we stopped, we got out,
