Summary
Egan Bernal closes out his Giro d'Italia 2021 GC, crossing the line comfortably ahead of Caruso on GC wearing the maglia rosa and celebrating as he should. However things were less straightforward for the stage win in the Milan TT, with Ganna suffering a puncture and Cavagna a mechanical both within the last few kilometres. Benji and LR also recap stage 1 of the Criterium du Dauphine, which has kicked off without too much fanfare, in the shadow of the Giro d'Italia. A hilly course offering something for the puncheurs, climby sprinty bois as well as a breakaway.

| 1:16.4 | and I think Afini started a bit later than Gana in this time trial. |
| 1:20.1 | In terms of Gana's start, I thought he looked good in the first few kilometers. |
| 1:24.3 | I generally thought he's looking strong and will put in a strong performance, |
| 1:29.5 | and his times were significantly better than Walshide's times. |
