Naisen, the Giro d'Italia, is back on the menu.

Third week started with stage 17, a nasty stage, 194Ks, downhill start, which makes brake

formation difficult, then they do a 3K, 9% climb, downhill again, then a valley section

flat of about 50Ks, then two nasty climbs, pastos and the Latino 15K, 7.6% descent, short

valley, and then Sega de Arla climb, 11.5Ks, 9.6% some filthy gradients in there, I think

the 8K is quite steep and it levels off at the end, so not a fake news climb, it's just

pretty disgusting for the first 80% of it.

Favres for the day were in the brake, riders like, nibbly, forumolo, Dan Martin, etc.

Going to be a GC test after the rest day yesterday, what do you think was going to happen

Benji, who, going into this third week, who needed to make some moves, was it Trek trying

to move to Kanye to the podium, was it Vlasov and Karthiga for the win, what would you

have said if you were Bahrain yesterday?

I think that all things that are trying to fight for the podium needed to try and fight

for that podium, I am not necessarily sure that in Bahrain's plans I would have said

I would do this or that, because Kartho seems to be best off if you leave him running

as his own pace on the climb, and not necessarily if you let him attack somewhere, and I think

that's always worked for Kartho so far in this Euro, so I wouldn't really force that,

I think that it's his skill, it's his, what he's good at, but I think that there's a lot

of people that are a bit too behind on GC that, needed to go in the brake away, it's

easy to say afterwards, and I can't prove this at all, but this morning on Discord I spoke

about Dan Martin having an opportunity of winning this stage, because you've got the
