We've returned to Italian shores after the travel day from Bulgaria's Grande Partenza.

We have a stage from Catanzaro to Cosenza. We have some racing today. I'm pleased to announce we have some bike racing today, 140 kilometer long stage stage beginning at the end of catania bottom

of catania i think and then going west towards the coast and then they go north for like i don't know

50 k's dead north uh where there was some crosswind but you know you know, there's people kite surfing.

That's how strong the wind was, but there was still no echelons because it's easily.

Then they do a 14 and a half K, 6% climb.

It begins the first 5Ks, average 7%.

First 5Ks, levels off a bit, some corners, but 14K k's so it's half an hour plus then a pedaling descent

then the last 20ks are flat there's a red bull k with 12ks to go uphill drag so a lot of corners

in this final so the final straight is 400 meters long, 4%,

but it's like five corners before that.

So a technical finish,

that's why it's good as a climb there.

What did you think would happen on today's stage,

Benji, given the attitude of the Peloton

on the previous three stages?

Well, I think the big difference compared to stage three is that the climb in the middle

of this stage is closer to the finish line and is actually pretty hard.

The first half of that climb is harder than the second half.

You already mentioned the gradients being, I think, 15K, 6% or something, roughly 14K, 6%.

There's a portion in there up to maybe 13% in the first half.
