Like, do you actually recognize who God is? Because if you don't know who God is and you don't know

whose train fills the heavens, who is God, who created everything you see, who split the red

sea in half, who raised from the dead, if you don't actually recognize that he can snap his finger

and this whole world can become dust, if you're not in awe of him, you are most certainly not going to break up with your boyfriend.

Do you know who God is?

And do you know why, kind of what you're saying, Lily, he says the things that he does.

Because if you don't recognize the holiness of God, you are not going to stop sleeping with your boyfriend.

If you don't recognize how

much better God is than fulfilling your sexual desires with a God that you love, and if you don't

love God more than the person that you're dating, you're not going to break up with him.

I kind of chased two things alongside Jesus, and that was boys in fame. Just super toxic and didn't have any kind of basis for healthy relationships

and didn't realize how much these two things that I really idolized or like put alongside Jesus

would capture my affections, capture my heart.

It was kind of like the good girl of the bad crowd and the bad girl of the good

crowd. What we are experiencing this like tug of war of our soul versus the world for believers

is the closest thing we're going to get in hell because one day we're going to be in heaven and

never experienced this. I tried everything the world had to offer. Drugs, alcohol, boys,

body. I feel like I've tasted, but also

achieved and can confidently say it is lifeless. It leads to more anxiety.
