Jillian Benfield is a former journalist and news anchor. She holds a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Georgia. As a freelance writer, her essays about living an unexpected life have appeared on sites such as TODAY, Good Morning America, Yahoo! News, and ABC News. Jillian regularly advocates for the full inclusion of people with disabilities in her writings, community, and as part of the National Down Syndrom Congress’s National Down Syndrom Advocacy Coalition. Jillian and her husband, Andy, and their three children make their home on Florida’s Space Coast.

0:58.2	We love talking about what the challenges for the three are, but most of all, about the incredible
1:04.2	gifts that they bring to the table when they're in a healthy space. Tell us how you discovered you
1:09.8	were a three. And how did it land with you? Because for a lot of Enneagram threes, interestingly,
1:16.2	probably the second most, the second, the number on the Enneagram that most struggles with shame
1:22.6	right behind the Enneagram for talk about. Yeah. So I was just hearing about the Enneagram a lot
1:28.9	on different podcasts and different writers that I was following. And finally asked a writing
1:33.5	acquaintance of mine, what book did you read? So you mentioned a book. What is it? And it was your book.
1:38.9	And I found it at a really good time for me because I was just starting to think about writing
1:45.0	my own book. And it helped me to really go back and reprocess some of the things that I have been
1:52.5	through through my unexpected circumstances and really see it through a clearer lens as a three.
