Hey, everybody, welcome back to the Giants Insider podcast.

Today's guest is Tyler Rogers, somebody who you saw in September.

Long time coming for Tyler, and we talked about that during this interview, but it was a real

surprise, you know, especially the year before and really a couple times when he was in a September

call-up.

And we always wondered, I mean, you knew that the stuff was not going to be overpowering,

but he put up such good numbers in AAA and in the minors that it was a shock that a team that had such issues

never found a spot for him.

But ultimately he got his opportunity last September and was really dominant and came in this spring,

had a very nice spring,

and impressed the coaches and press teammates.

I asked him during this interview about a live BP session where I was standing about 20 feet

from the cage in Scottsdale and saw guys walking out just shaking their heads and making

faces.

Like, how do you hit that?

So he was having a good spring.
