Hey, everybody, welcome back to the Giants Insider podcast.

I hope you guys are all safe and sound and at home for the most part and getting by

without baseball.

It does sound like maybe there's a little bit more optimism about the sport returning

maybe in late June, early July.

So we will wait and see for that.

But I think there's been more optimism behind the scenes the last week or so.

And I think you'll probably start to learn more in the coming days.

Until it returns, we will keep doing two Giants podcasts a week and trying to give you

some entertainment and some Giants-related coverage.

If you missed it Tuesday, Tyler Rogers was the guest.

And I thought that was a really fun interview when Tyler had a lot of interesting things to say about his season last year and moving forward and including, you know, how close he maybe came to looking at doing something else last year when it looked like he might not get called up again.

So if you missed that on Tuesday, you can go back and find that one. Today is a bit of a different one, but one I really enjoy doing. There's this book called Intangibles, Unlocking the Science and Soul

of Team Chemistry. It came out this week. It was written by Joan Ryan, who was a longtime writer here in the Bay Area, and has worked for the Giants for a while. I've known her the entire time I've been on the beat.

I see her quite often during the season and talk to her a lot before games. And she has, you know, you guys might know her from her work with some of the blogs the Giants put out.

She does a lot of work with Brandon Crawford, Brandon Belt in recent years to help the

Giants have their Brandon's blog.

And she wrote this book and it is fantastic and it is really based a lot around the Giants.
