I had uh... eav Eve Rodsky on my podcast a while ago and the work that she is doing and the work that you're doing, I just think is, God, it's, you you know what it's so important and yet it's also very

controversial so I wanted to ask you first on your side what are you getting as

far as how are people responding to all your

conversations about mental load? Obviously I'm assuming moms women love it and I'm and maybe it's an assumption but I'm

assuming you're getting a lot of pushback from men and I would say older men like

a men my age. Yeah I think you're spot on with I think a lot of women feel really heard and like validated in what they're experiencing and for those that don't know much about me.

I give a lot of examples of where I add

extramental load for my partner which came from my understanding came from

reading Eve's fair playbook. Well how did you ask you this how did you even get there? How did your story

get you to even reading her book or being interested in this topic? So we had back in

2021 we had our firstborn and in that time I was on paternity leave I

started talking about like experience of being a new dad and in that time I developed an

audience of about 80,000 followers on Tik-talk.

And as I was talking about that, I continuously was trying to better understand how I can deliver value I think to all those moms and women that were following me that were I think kind of impressed with the way that I thought about being a parent and a partner.

Yes, at some point two people I really look up to Laura Danger and Abby Ekel.

I had made a post saying like what book should I read next and both of them like simultaneously said fair play. I was like well, it's pretty clear what I need to read next and so I had this opportunity. I mean it's not an easy book to get through, I think, for a lot of men.
